Starting over again..

So, we're starting over again.

We have initiated development on fqircd 3.0, which we are basing on Bahamut 1.8.6.
This will probably be our last IRCD based on Bahamut, as we are looking for a better and more actively developed ircd with native SSL and IPv6 support.

We'll hopefully keep you posted on ...

Nothing new..

Just wanted to let you know that we are alive, even though we haven't been too active. We are currently not working on any projects, but we have some ideas about what we want to achieve. Unfortunatly, none of us has any time left to spend on coding stuff, so ...

SVN and more..

Hello to all of you nice readers :-)

Tonight we switched from CVS to SVN. You might have noticed that our CVS has been down for some months, this was due to Mark moving. We now have SVN up on a faster box along with ViewVC for easy browsing of our ...

CGI:IRC and ircd-hybrid (and more!)

Since ircd-hybrid lacked support of CGI:IRC, we ported the m_webirc.c from ircd-ratbox to ircd-hybrid. It is quite untested, but atleast it works. There were some old m_webirc.c floating around for ircd-hybrid, but it didn't compile with version 7.2.3.

Make sure you read the instructions on the top of the file before ...

Thales (updated)

Well, we threw away Thales, and we use Denora instead. Works like a charm, so we will not be developing any new software with the same functionality. Sorry guys.

ircd-hybrid

Hi again!

We soon will begin testing of ircd-hybrid! The main reason for this is that Bahamut development seems to have stalled, and our development team hasn't been very active lately, and we hope to benefit from the much more active development that hybrid has.
Another reason is that hybrid also has ...

Thales

Many of you have probably heard about Thales [link]. Due to it lacking Bahamut 1.8.x support, it needs to be modified some. We've talked about it for quite a while now, and during 2006 we will either code support for Bahamut 1.8.x into Thales, or code another software just like ...

New homepage wanted!

Yes, that's right! We want a new homepage. Why? Well, we've had the current page for almost three years, and it's kinda dull looking, don't you think?

We have a few things in mind with the new homepage:
* It has to be easily translated into different languages
* There is to be ...

Help wanted!

We want you!

Well, that sounds a bit like Uncle Sam is trying to recruit you, doesn't it? ;) We are looking for people that want to contribute to what we do. We can't offer anything more than our gratitude and proper credit for the work you do, so if you're ...

files.freequest.net - Up again

The server has been up again for atleast 10 days. It will, however, be replaced by a new one, and downtime is estimated to be around 2-10 hours. The swap will probably happen this week, without much prior notice.
