SVN and more..

Hello to all of you nice readers :-)

Tonight we switched from CVS to SVN. You might have noticed that our CVS has been down for some months, this was due to Mark moving. We now have SVN up on a faster box along with ViewVC for easy browsing of our repositories.

We have also decided to base our next ircd branch on ircd-ratbox, more info about that later.
Also, welcome xargoon as a new coder!

CGI:IRC and ircd-hybrid (and more!)

Since ircd-hybrid lacked support of CGI:IRC, we ported the m_webirc.c from ircd-ratbox to ircd-hybrid. It is quite untested, but atleast it works. There were some old m_webirc.c floating around for ircd-hybrid, but it didn’t compile with version 7.2.3.

Make sure you read the instructions on the top of the file before you compile it.

Also, Mark is in the progress of trying to get our services package to work with ircd-hybrid, but since it is only TS3 and ircd-hybrid uses TS6 it will need major rewrite of services (and perhaps ircd-hybrid aswell).

We’ll keep you posted!

Thales (updated)

Well, we threw away Thales, and we use Denora instead. Works like a charm, so we will not be developing any new software with the same functionality. Sorry guys.
